MAMMOTH
Massive 18" main snare. 6" side snare. And a jellyfish bell, enhanced by my effect rack.
60 drum loops and 40 one-shots from one session built around a giant 18" main snare, a 6" side snare and a jellyfish bell, all through Dan's FX rack. 84–200 BPM, 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV.
Hit pads. Splice tape. Mix sides.

The story behind MAMMOTH.
This one wasn't planned. I sat down to record myself through my effect chain the way I always do, just for fun.
Part of the fun for me is going stupidly deep into weird setups, so I built one. The main snare was a giant 18", and next to it I put a crunchy, tiny, rude 6" snare, and a jellyfish bell with a deep chilling sound. Everything ran through my FX rack to enhance the massive sound I was looking for.
The 18" came out fat beyond anything reasonable. Massive, deep, and completely its own animal. I posted a short video from that session and the same message kept coming back: "Make this as a sample pack!"
So here it is. 60 loops and 40 one-shots, all from that one session. Nothing added, nothing re-recorded.
Born out of pure obsession, nothing else.
